arrive in ATL at 6am! eddy and ben picked me up, nearly killing themselves getting off the freeway. dead tired, no sleep on the plane...but being the foodie that i am, i mustered up the energy to yelp a breakfast joint open at 6am on a saturday. we mapped our way to a place called "Ria's Bluebird" but it was closed! Detoured to the closest place with the best reviews and ended up at "Bobby and June's Kountry Kitchen." don't know if we missed out on Ria's, but upon our seating at Bobby and June's we were warmly greeted with a soft "Hi y'all" that could only come from a southern belle. what did we order? $3.95 breakfast special of eggs, bacon, grits, and biscuits (i added gravy as well)!
